Coming Events
Due to the rapid enrolment of 5 year olds, we will be starting
an extra New Entrant class sooner than normal. We advertised
for the position a fortnight ago and held interviews in the last
few days. I am pleased to announce the successful applicant
Glenda Kerrisk. She is familiar to us all, having worked in
R14 a bit this year, which is great. Mrs Kerrisk will begin
working alongside Miss Collie in R15 for a couple of days
before beginning with her own class in R16. The parents of
students joining this new class will be contacted soon.

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Tuesday and
Wednesday, the 31st March and 1st April. School will close at
lunchtime (12:40pm) on Tuesday to allow an early afternoon
start (1:30pm). Interviews will continue through until 6:30pm.
Parents/Caregivers are asked to collect students from school at
12:40pm as buses will not run early. They will run at the
usual time of 3.00pm. Children who have an early afternoon
interview with teachers may wait at school until their
conference is finished, before leaving with their parents.
On Wednesday afternoon, from 3:30 - 5:30pm additional
interviews times will be made available to parents who can’t
make the Tuesday times.
Interviews can now be booked online. To do this, go to:
www.schoolinterviews.co.nz, enter the event code VHRM6
and then follow the onscreen instructions. If you successfully
complete the booking process you will receive an email
confirming your booking. If you do not have internet access
you can still book an interview by calling Kathy at the
office (09 423 8042). She will do the online booking for you.
Be in quick to book your preferred times.

THANK YOU!
Thank you to all those parents who
helped, at short notice, with the
loading and unloading of the new
assembly furniture last week. To be
offered the furniture free, and then
have a team immediately available to
pick it up and drop it off, was
fantastic. Thank you to….
