The competition was founded by Mr. Sebastian van Berkom, a respected small-cap investment industry leader and dedicated alumnus of JMSB. We give our thanks to him for the time he has committed to make this year’s competition successful and for inspiring us with his vision. The ongoing support of Van Berkom & Associates and the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) in providing opportunities such as this case competition is tremendously important and contributes to the creation of a balanced academic experience. Giving students the chance to apply their skills and knowledge to real world business challenges is an invaluable compliment to their in-class learning.
