Since its founding in 1968, Saskatoon SPCA has been connecting and transforming lives and making
Saskatoon a safer, more compassionate, furry, and fun community.
Each spring we celebrate our achievements at our annual Gala. This year, our Gala - Fashion Faux Paws - will highlight fun,
chic, and “groovy” 1960s inspired trends from local designers and boutiques within Saskatoon. The decade spanned
everything from “Mad Men,” to James Bond, to Elvis, the Beatles and the English invasion, to “Easy Rider,” and “Bonnie
and Clyde,” to Woodstock and the “Summer of Love,” so there is plenty of inspiration for a night of fabulous fashion and
fun.
As a leading community-minded and fashion-forward business leader in our city, we want you to be part of the fun of
Fashion Faux Paws 60s style, a night that will attract more than 300 pet-loving party goers. Staged in the lovely Hilton
Garden Inn on Saturday May 9th, 2015, this one-of-a-kind event offers you the opportunity to both support pets in need,
and to promote your business profile.
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
Assemble three 60s inspired outfits for the “Fashion Faux Paws” runway show. You will have the opportunity to show off
your unique style to an audience of 300+ trendy Saskatoonians. This sponsorship will be entirely in-kind as we will supply all
models (a mix of SHE Models and potential local Media Celebrities) and styling to go along with your interpretation of 60s
fashion (hair and makeup courtesy of Visions Salon). Saskatoon SPCA’s event manager will be responsible for coordinating
pick-up and return of the outfits to you. While supporting a great cause, you will also get free publicity at the event, as well
as promotion prior to the event on our website and various social media channels.

Be a business sponsor of one of the Runway Pups. Our models will be accompanied by adorable dogs that are sure to
capture the attention and hearts of “Fashion Faux Paws” partygoers – and we would love your business to share the

Donate an outfit to the “Fashion Faux Paws” Silent Auction. Your business and one of the donated outfits will be

Attend “Fashion Faux Paws.” As a fashion show contributor, you and your team will be photographed and promoted
through Saskatoon SPCA social media and at the event in our “See and Be Seen” features. In addition the fun of
seeing more than 300 fashion-forward pet lovers strut their stuff, “Fashion Faux Paws” features the fashion show,
Austin Powers inspired burlesque, a champagne reception, dancing to the groovy sounds of the 60s, and many more
surprises!

