ATTENDANCE NEWS…
EARLY DISMISSAL
If you are planning to check your student out of school early, please send an early dismissal note to school
with your student. Your student will give the note to his/her first block teacher. The teacher will write your
student a pass to come to the Attendance Office at the time you stated on the early dismissal note. Parents
will not need to come to the Attendance Office to check out his/her student if the students has turned in an
early dismissal note.
PTSA NEWS…
Black History Month
During the month of February PTSA distributed several wrist bands to students as they celebrate Black History Month. There were different messages "All Shapes, All Sizes, All Colors, All Special" "Celebrate Diversity"
and "Many Cultures, ONE NATON". During distribution students were asked to name someone that has
made Black History. There was a great dialogue
with students from all ethnic backgrounds as they
enjoyed conversing with the volunteers. They also
received book markers and lapel pins.

NJROTC Super Shooter
Congratulations to Cadet Levi Rivard. Levi recently placed 3rd out of over 70 highly skilled shooters, in
the NJROTC Navy Service Marksmanship Regional Championships in Anniston, Alabama. With his impressive showing, he qualified and will attend the NJROTC National Marksmanship Championships in
Camp Perry, Ohio on March 18-22. He was the Number 1 At Large Individual qualifier and will now have
a chance to win a National Championship for the McEachern NJROTC and the Indian Family.
JV Girls Come Out on Top Again
McEachern JV Girls Basketball team took the Regional title for the second year in a row. This season was
yet again another UNDEFEATED season 15-0! This year was an exceptional year with everyone contributing. This season was dedicated to Laterrika Freeman #20, a 9th grader who passed away this summer. She was a talented basketball player and her spirit was with us each game.
