Plenary 1: Korea as a Unique Donor
Korea has a unique history of rising from a recipient country to a donor country.
Now the world’s 15th largest economy, Korea is a key development partner of the
WBG and an important contributor to the IDA.

Plenary 2: World Bank Group –Korea Programs and Projects
As Korea positioned itself for an enhanced international role, the government
entered into a co-financing framework agreement with the WBG, and created a
number of trust funds. Today, the WBG has a series of diverse and innovative
partnerships and programs with Korean partners.
This session will give a general overview of on-going Korea-financed WBG
programs and results, and discuss ways to strengthen WBG-Korea partnerships.
