SET PROGRAMMER SWITCHES AND FEATURE TRANSMISSION
(See Switch Diagram on back page)
When adding features via the Hand Held Programmer, all features required must be added at the same time.
Adding an additional feature later will re-program the lock to only that feature.
Manager Code
The lock is sent from the factory with the Manager code set to 1-2-3-4-5-6. If no other features will be added to the
lock, the Manager can add a User on the keypad. If other features are added after the User has been set-up on the
keypad (please see Manager Instructions for your lock), the User will be deleted and have to re-added after new setup is complete.
Setting Switches
The COMBOGARD and SAFEGARD locks are set by turning switches ON or OFF via the Hand Held Programmer.
Follow the steps below to set the lock to the features required.
1 Turn switch(s) to the ON position to select features.
• Only Silent Signal Alarm and Time Delay may be used with other features.
2 Connect Programmer to the lock via the port marked ENT.
• INITIAL SET-UP: Enter the factory pre-set Manager Code (1-2-3-4-5-6)
• FIELD SET-UP: Enter the valid Manager Code
During the code entry display will show
