The award recognized Bolton’s high standard of excellence and outstanding achievements in supporting Five Acres and their mission to provide children and families with shelter, healthcare, and compassion. “It was an honor to receive the Five Acres 2015 Special Service to Children Award,” said Kim Johnson, Vice Chairman of the Bolton Foundation. “We're so happy to contribute to a great organization that promotes safety, well-being and permanency for children and their families.” In December 2014, The Bolton Foundation provided Five Acres with a grant in the amount of $10,000 and invited fifty of their children and families to participate in the Bolton Foundation’s first annual charity event Granting Holiday Wishes.
