---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Next week the Theatre Arts department presents its student written production The Clarity of
Madness, by senior Theatre Career Path student Baillie Puckett.
The Clarity of Madness is an original play roughly based on Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass
and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Teenager Alice Liddell is forced into a mental hospital ward
for the criminally insane and struggles through a series of puzzling situations that seem to have no
clear solution. Repeatedly frustrated in the ridiculous realm of "Wonderland," Alice is faced with the
choice to fight or accept her fate.
The Clarity of Madness runs next weekend, March 26th, 27th and 28th in the West Ranch Theatre at 7:00 p.m.
Admission is only $5 for students and $8 for adults.
Note: This play is best suited for audiences 10 and up. Despite its roots in children's literature, this is
not a children's theatre production. The themes are dark and the style of the play is somewhat scary
at times.
