Sub : Regarding the Consent for Teaching in Pre-Ph.D. Course (Hindi) at Armapur P.G. College, Centre.
Dear Sir,
Chatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur has established a Pre-Ph.D. Course centre in my college
for six month training programme for the Ph.D. students. This Pre-Ph.D. Course will commence from 23rd
March, 2015 and will by held upto Sept. 2015. The teaching time is from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm from Monday
to Friday. The details of this Pre-Ph.D. Course is as under 1-
There shall be two papers in six months semester course
Paper- I : Research Methodology, Hypothesis, Report & Thesis Writing
Paper-II : Quantitative methods and computer Application

Each paper will carry 100 marks, 70 marks of them shell be assigned to main examination and 30 marks
for internal assessment (practical work/field work/assignment/participation/presentation/and attendance)
Minimum pass marks shall be 50 percent in aggregate subject to a minimum of 50 percent in main
examination and internal assessment separately in each paper.
75 percent attendance will be compulsory in each paper and practical work /field visit/Assignment/
Participation/Presentation.
Two Classes of 90 min. for each paper will be held daily in college auditorium supported by Power Point
Presentation.
Remuneration for Internal faculty - Rs. 600/- per lecture i.e. for per 1.5 Hrs. , Rs. 100/- TA per lecture/per
day of visit.
Remuneration for External Resource Persons (Coming from outstation)
Rs. 1000/- per lecture i.e. for per 1.5 Hrs. , TA + DA per External Resource Persons as per University Rules.
