Effective 1/1/2014 the Washington Medicaid Program resumed covering dental services for all adults with Medicaid (clients 21 years of age and older). Includes people who
already have Medicaid AND people who are eligible for “Expanded Medicaid,” part of health care reform. Medicaid is now “APPLE HEALTH”. Comprehensive services
included for pregnant women and 60-day postpartum women remain unchanged.
For a dental emergency or dental pain with facial swelling and/or fever, you may obtain relief of these symptoms at any area hospital emergency room or community clinic.
Medicaid / Medicare, sliding scale and reduced fees may be available.
