Fun By The Numbers
Like puzzles? Then
you’ll love sudoku. This
mind-bending puzzle
will have you hooked
from the moment you
square off, so sharpen
your pencil and put
your sudoku savvy to
the test!
Here’s How It Works:
Sudoku puzzles are
formatted as a 9x9
grid, broken down
into nine 3x3 boxes.
To solve sudoku, the
numbers 1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each number
can appear only once in each row, column and box. You can figure out the
order in which the numbers will appear by using the numeric clues already
provided in the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets to
solve the puzzle!

Living the Classifieds’ Lifestyle!
Messages from the universe. Do you ever get them? Regardless
of one’s beliefs, I think that everyone receives those nudges now and then. For awhile
now, I have received the message that I need to meditate. Meditation is supposed to be very
beneficial for health and stress, but the thought of meditating totally stresses me out! That
can’t be good, right? What freaks me out is the silence. I am one of those kinds of people
who always has sound going on in the background regardless of what I am doing, even
going to sleep at night. In silence, my mind tends to race and anxiety will build. So, how is
meditation going to help? However, when I am listening to the radio or watching TV, I keep
receiving that message…..meditate. So, I guess I should give it a go.
What type of messages are you getting? When you are at home or out and about, do you
ever get those nudges that you really need to take action on something? We have advertisers
in this section that will be happy to solve those nudges. Is it something that you need taken
care of around the house? A new apartment, car or a nice relaxing massage? Some quality
painting, landscaping or clean up now that spring is actually arriving? Whatever it is,
I believe you can find the solution to those messages that you are getting. Let’s meditate on it!
Always grateful…..

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING Project File No. 604675
A Design Public Hearing will be held by MassDOT to discuss the proposed bridge replacement of River Street over
Quinapoxet River project in Holden, MA.
WHERE: Memorial Hall
1196 Main Street
Holden, MA 01520
WHEN:
Thursday April 2, 2015 at 7:00pm
PURPOSE: The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with
the proposed bridge replacement project. All views and comments made at the hearing will be reviewed
and considered to the maximum extent possible.
PROPOSAL:The work under this project consists of the replacement of the River Street Bridge over Quinapoxet River.
The work will replace the bridge in its entirety. The existing piers will be cut and capped to prevent work
from being performed in the River. The curb-to-curb width of the bridge will be widened by
2’-3” to accommodate current standards. The proposed roadway profile will match the existing condition
very closely. The bridge will be closed to traffic during the construction period. No accommodations will
be made for pedestrian and bicycle movements crossing the River during construction.
A secure right-of-way is necessary for this project. Acquisitions in fee and permanent or temporary easements
may be required. The city is responsible for acquiring all needed rights in private or public lands. MassDOT’s policy
concerning land acquisitions will be discussed at this hearing.
Written views received by MassDOT subsequent to the date of this notice and up to five (5) days prior to the date of
the hearing shall be displayed for public inspection and copying at the time and date listed above. Plans will be on
display one-half hour before the hearing begins, with an engineer in attendance to answer questions regarding this
project. A project handout will be made available on the MassDOT website listed below.
Written statements and other exhibits in place of, or in addition to, oral statements made at the Public Hearing
regarding the proposed undertaking are to be submitted to Patricia A. Leavenworth, P.E., Chief Engineer, MassDOT,
10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116, Attention: Bridge Project Management, Project File No. 604675. Such submissions
