To help us we have the Sacrament of rapidly approaching Holy Week. Our spiritual reading, prayer and meditation makes us aware that the climax of Jesus' ministry is fast approaching. The cost of his mission here on earth points to his ultimate sacrifice on the altar of wood, the Cross. As He solemnly declared – ‘unless a wheat grain falls on the ground and dies it remains only a single grain; but if it dies it yields a rich harvest’. Without the cross we cannot have the resurrection. Reconciliation. In this coming week there will be FOUR Reconciliation Services (see Lent Anchor & Mass Times page) in our local larger Parish Area.
