INVITATION FOR INFORMATION
Requests for information are hereby invited for the supply of goods and/or services to the
CSIR.

REQUEST FOR INFOMATION REQUIREMENTS
CSIR Biosciences carries out cosmetic product development using botanical extracts and
requests cosmetic safety and efficacy information with respect to the following products.
The product portfolio and anticipated requirements are shown in Table 1and Table 2.

CSIR requires safety and then efficacy assays studies on cosmetic products (in vitro, and/or
human subjects) as required to meet compliance regulatory requirements.
The service provider is requested to provide details on the facility accreditation and
methods used to carry out the requisite studies (safety/efficacy).
The service provider is requested to provide a detailed project plan on the initiation date
duration period and completion date for the safety and efficacy studies.
The service provider is requested to provide details of the organizations ethics compliance
and date of validity. Furthermore, it is requested the service provider communicates
supporting documentation and material is to be provided by the client to ensure completion
of the study (safety/efficacy).

OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
3.1
The supplier shall under no circumstances offer, promise or make any gift, payment,
loan, reward, inducement, benefit or other advantage, which may be construed as
being made to solicit any favour, to any CSIR employee or its representatives.
3.2
Such an act shall constitute a material breach of the Agreement and the CSIR shall
be entitled to terminate the Agreement forthwith, without prejudice to any of its rights.

No goods and/or services should be delivered to the CSIR without an official
CSIR Purchase order. Note: This is not a Purchase Order.
