Important Notices:
Extension Forms are to be completed online, printed and submitted in to the Student Financial
Assistance Office Drop Box at POD 59 for processing.

Please be aware that any changes in course load can cause a significant reduction in your OSAP entitlement and
may result in ineligibility for funding.
•
Receipt of OSAP funding during the spring/summer will affect your Ontario Student Opportunity Grant.
•
If you are a Ryerson student taking courses at both Ryerson and at another institution on a Letter of Permission
for the Spring/Summer Session, you must pick up Studies at Another Institution Form:
http://www.ryerson.ca/currentstudents/financialaid/). You must complete Section A and have the Financial Aid
office representative at the institution you will be attending complete and sign Section B. Both the Studies at
Another Institution, the Letter of Permission and the Extension forms must be submitted to our office by the
deadline for processing. If you are taking all courses at another institution on a Letter of Permission, you must
apply for OSAP through the other institution.
OVERAWARD POLICY: Students whose OSAP funding has been reduced by reassessment during the Fall and Winter
terms will be deemed to be in an over award situation. The amount of the over award may reduce the amount of your
spring/summer funding. In order for funds to be released, you must be registered in the courses listed on the next page.
