Don’t Forget!! Our Youth are Ready to Serve!
The junior and senior class of 2015 is gearing up for our annual
summer mission trip! Our group will be traveling to Gatlinburg,
TN to participate in construction work for people who
are disabled. We are ready and excited to bring the
hope of Jesus to those who are homebound. Though
this location will be less expensive, we still have
money to raise to get us there! Please help us reach
our goal this year by allowing our youth to work for you
in exchange for a donation toward their mission. We
are available for the following projects:
Minor building projects (ramps, general repairs), Pressure
washing, Leaf raking, Cleaning gutters, Lawn mowing (once
spring arrives!), House cleaning, Painting, Minor landscaping
(clearing, bush trimming, etc.)
We will also be collecting metal again and will be available for
pick up at least one Saturday per month. Contact Ashley Godley,
(336) 247-1829 to set up a date/time for your project or to
schedule metal pick-up.
Welcome to Community Church and this edition of the
“Snapshot”, our monthly news bulletin. If this is your first
time, chances are good that you will see that Church can
have great meaning and still be fun. Speak with someone
at the visitor's table for more information, or meet one of our
pastors or elders down front after the service. While we
always want to have a fun experience when we are
together, we are very serious about a relationship with
God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible. We love to see
lives remade, so if that's you, let us know. Community
Church can help you with the next steps.

Senior Pastor

MONDAYS: Titus 2 Women ~ 6:30pm - 8:00pm ~ Events Center,
71 Biesecker Rd. This is an exciting place where women can come
together to connect with God, build special relationships, and grow
spiritually. Simple truths of God’s Word are taught, personal
experiences are shared, and challenges are given each week. This
is a place of hope and transformation. Contact: Linda Worley,
746-6276 or [email protected].
TUESDAYS: Man Church ~ 6:30pm - “The Barn” - 2436 Allred Rd.
Man Church begins with fellowship and a great meal followed by an
“open discussion” Bible study. Our goal is to assist men in their
personal journey of growing to full Christian maturity. In doing so, they
become better husbands and fathers. Men’s lives are being changed
as they come together in a very unique environment. An old barn with
a tin roof, a wood stove, a pot of ham beans, chicken & dumplings and
world-class desserts all mixed together with “The Gospel of Jesus
Christ”...an absolute, guaranteed, formula for growth.

WEDNESDAYS: “LCC Expedition” Youth Service ~ 6:30-8:30pm ~
Events Center, 71 Biesecker Rd. Students gather each week to

music or a fun video followed by a Bible based lesson to help guide
them in their daily lives. Afterwards, they spend time in small groups
(according to grade and gender) led by dedicated mentors where the
students can share in activities and discussions and build valuable
relationships. Contact: Ashley Godley - [email protected]

A thought - closet makeover
Me, Myself, and Lies is a video-driven Bible
study that encourages women to clean
out the junk in their minds and replace
hidden negative thoughts about themselves with positive
truths from God's word. Girls, we talk to ourselves! As a
“woman thinks, so is she”. Are you thinking about &
reacting to what God says about you? If not, you need a
thought-closet makeover! Discussion led by Linda Worley.
Man Church: Man Church will meet
at the barn each Tuesday in April at
6:30pm. Be sure to join us for an evening of
spiritual growth and a GREAT meal! See back for
more details.
