ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE Hon’ble Chief Minister has desired for conducting a 30 day quality coaching for Engineering and Medical Entrance Exam’2015 in seven centers at Sivasagar, Jorhat, North Lakhimpur, Diphu, Barpeta, Kokrajhar, & Silchar for the students belonging to economically backward / weaker sections of society in collaboration with the State Level Advisory Committee (SLAC) for Students & Youth Welfare, Assam. Eligibility Criteria:     Candidates should be of Indian Nationality and a permanent resident of Assam. Preference will be given to BPL card holder which is issued by relevant authority (e.g. Panchayat /Circle Officer/MLA). Candidate’s qualifying exam should be with Mathematics/Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English in HSSLC. The HSSLC or 10+2 passed candidate’s minimum marks should be 50%, of the total for General category. This criteria for SC, ST,OBC-NC is 45%.In case of appearing students the relevant criteria is 60% (for General) and 55% for SC,ST,OBC-NC in HSLC exam. General category candidates must fall under age bracket of 17 – 21 years as on 1st April 2015.   Documents required:  Valid BPL card.  Valid PRC.  HSLC/HSSLC mark sheet.  Cast certificate (If applicable). N.B.: 1. If the number of applicant is more than the available seats (i.e.50 per location) ,a selection test will be conducted.
