On March 24, 2015, at the times noted below, or as soon thereafter as possible, the Carroll County
Board of Zoning Appeals will hold public hearings in the Reagan Room (Rm. 003), Carroll County
Office Building, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland 21157, for the following cases
and any other official business as time allows:
9:30 a.m.
Case 5819, Request for a conditional use and a variance for a country inn
with banquet facilities, a recreational area and a commercial campsite to
furnish an existing area and a potential change of location to another site 45
feet by 100 feet area to hold one time catered events. Variance to be
reduced from 400 feet to 225 feet from existing recreation area of 24 feet by
70 feet to property line of 2270 Harvey Gummel Road. Variance to reduce
distance of 400 feet to 225 feet from proposed 45 feet to 100 feet recreation
area to property line at 2352 Harvey Gummel Road. The site is located at
2300 Harvey Gummel Road, Hampstead, Maryland 21074 on property

facilities. The site is located at 817 Fridinger Mill Road, Westminster,
Maryland 21157, on property zoned “A” Agricultural in Election District 6.

from 400 feet to 65 feet from 1915 Bethel Road and variance from 18 feet wide

Windsor, Maryland 21776 on property zoned “MR” Mineral Resource
