Weekly Weather Report of Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for The Week ending on 25th March- 2015 ( Issued by Regional Meteorological Centre, Nagpur-440 005 ) SYNOPTIC SITUATION :– 19th :- Yesterdays upper air cyclonic ciculation over Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh has become less marked. Dry air continue to prevail over Madhya Pradesh Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. 20th :- The induced upper air cyclonic circulation lies over West Rajasthan and Neighbourhood and extends upto 1.5 kms above mean sea level. Dry air continue to prevail over Madhya Pradesh Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. 21TH :- Yesterdays induced upper air cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan and Neighbourhood now seen as an upper air cyclonic circulation over North Rajasthan and neighbourhood and extends upto 1.5 kms above mean sea level.Dry air continue to prevail over Madhya Pradesh Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. 22ND :- Yesterdays upper air cyclonic circulation over North Rajasthan and neighborhood has become less marked. Dry air continues to prevail over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. 23RD :- Dry air continues to prevail over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. 24TH :- Under the influence of Western disturbance over North Afghanistan & neighbourhood, extending upto 3.1 km above mean sea level,An induced upper air cyclonic circulation lies over central Pakistan & adjoining West Rajasthan and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level. An The upper air cyclonic circulation over Bangladesh & adjoining Assam extends upto 3.1 km above mean sea level. The wind discontinuity extends from this system to south Chhattisgarh in lower levels. Another wind discontinuity extends from Chhattisgarh to Tamilnadu and extends upto 0.9 km above mean sea level. 25TH :- Yesterdays induced upper air cyclonic circulation over north Rajasthan & neighbourhood extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists. Another wind discontinuity from Chhattisgarh to Tamilnadu now extends from Lakshadweep area to south west Madhya Pradesh across Interior Karnataka & Madhya Maharashtra in lower levels. Dry air continues to prevail over the Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE :THE HIGHEST MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE WAS RECORDED 40.7°C AT KHARGONE IN SOUTHWEST MADHYA PRADESH ON 23RD AND 25TH MARCH 2015 DURING THIS WEEK.
