HIGHLIGHTS
To promote the advance in science, technology and practice of Fire Engineering, the Fire Division of HKIE will organize its
7th Annual Symposium on 23 April 2015 (Thursday). The theme of the symposium is "Fire Engineering for the Next Generation"
and it aims to facilitate the sharing of the evolution of Fire Safety Design in various countries and the exchange of recent
researches and new ideas in the development of design/strategy/system of Fire Engineering in modern building construction as
well as heritage conservation.
Mr. CHAN Mo-po, Paul, MH, JP, Secretary for Development, Development Bureau, HKSARG, has kindly consented to be the Guest
of Honour and will deliver an opening speech; prominent speakers from overseas as well as Mainland China will share their
experiences and insights with local experts and audience of the event.
