“April prepares the green traffic light and the world thinks GO

April
“April prepares the green traffic light and the world thinks
GO.” (Christopher Morley, John Mistletoe) The month of April can be
characterized as the month of hope. Hope that winter is FINALLY over
and spring is close at hand. We tend not to be bothered by the fact that
it is a rainy month, because as the phrase goes...it brings the flowers. We
start the month with April Fool’s Day and we are prepared for the pranks
that may come our way. April is National Poetry Month. During this
month we also have Patriots’ Day, Earth Day, Arbor Day and World
Health Day. We also celebrate the holidays of Easter and Passover during
April. And last, but never least is the April 15 deadline for filing our income tax. Some people refer to it as “TAXGIVING DAY”. Ponder this:
April is a difficult month for Americans—even if your ship comes in, the
IRS is right there to help you UNLOAD it!!

We have all heard
the phrase April
Showers bring May
flowers, but sometimes
if the atmosphere is right those showers bring a rainbow. A rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction and
dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a
spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the
form of a multicolored arc. No matter how many
times we may see a rainbow in our lifetime, it always
seems like we are seeing it for the first time.

This month we will be focusing on Section 2:
Rent which reads: “The Tenant shall pay the Rent
to the Landlord at the Landlord’s address. If the rent is
not paid by the 7th of the month a late charge of $10.00 is
to be added to the rent”.
Keeping it simple this month with a friendly reminder.
Rent is due on the first of the month with a 7 day grace
period. If your rent is not received by the 7 th of the
month, you will be sent a reminder and a $10.00 late
fee will be issued.

Hot Dog Night
On April 15, 1912 the British passenger liner,
“Titanic” sank in the North Atlantic Ocean after
colliding with an iceberg during her maiden voyage
from Southampton, UK to New York, US. The
White Star Line built the Titanic, and it was owned
by J.P Morgan, an American tycoon. It cost $7.5
million to build it; and the price of a first class ticket
was $4,700. Today that ticket would be $57,000.
