【For the Reference of Native English-Speaking Students & Parents】
Dear Parents,
Message from the Principal
It will be Christmas next week. It is hoped that parents and children have more time to gather
together, and to reflect on God’s grace in our lives. Parents are advised to ask students to make friends
carefully and treasure the outdoor public facilities. Besides, it will be the first-term examinations after
the Christmas holidays. Students should manage their time well for doing homework and revision. If
you need to seek for police help during the Christmas holiday, please contact the Tuen Mun Police
Station at 3661 1670.
I would like to share with you a miscellaneous thing that happened recently. At lunch-time last
week, I was going to drive for a meeting outside the campus. I suddenly found a volleyball running
towards my car. At that moment, I stopped for a while so that the student could pick up the ball first. I
noticed that a student and her friends acknowledged me with an apology signal. I understood that they
did not intend to throw the ball at me. I was much appreciated that they were able to shoulder their
responsibilities. They realized that I was not able to hear their voice out of the car, so they notified me
with their body language. Their polite and responsible attitude is a precious one for us to learn from.
Lengthy holidays are key time to put our learning theme “Strive for Excellence; In Search of
Wisdom” into practice. It is hoped that parents would encourage students to read more books and set a
target for themselves.
