The Carolinas Cycling Association State Time Trial Championships
presented by Mt. Pleasant Velo! Think you're the fastest in the
Carolinas? Prove it. Come out and test your speed on this fast and
flat, out-and-back course. The race will be held, rain or shine, on the
open roads of Huger/Awendaw. Riders from all states are welcome.
Course Description
The race route is an out-and-back course and will begin on Steed
Creek Road near the intersection of SC Hwy 41. The race will proceed
the length of Steed Creek to the turnaround at US 17N. 38k is the full
out-and-back distance.
Awards
State championship medals will be awarded to the top three fastest
racers in each category (racers with annual licenses from NC/SC only).
The fastest 5 overall times (each for men and women), including outof-state racers, payout $500 total cash purse.

Directions
From I-95/Columbia
Follow I-95 towards I-26. Exit onto I-26 East (exit 86). Take I-526 East
(exit 212) to Mt. Pleasant. Take exit 29 onto US 17N toward
Georgetown. Follow US 17N 4.5 miles to SC Hwy 41 (on left). Follow
SC Hwy 41 ~17 miles to (near intersection of SC Hwy 41 and Steed
Creek Road):

Registration/Schedule
This is a USA Cycling sanctioned event. All riders must have an annual
USA Cycling Road license. CAT 5 men/CAT 4 women may purchase a
one day license the day of the event for $15.00 if needed. All bicycles
must meet USA Cycling Official Rules (UCI compliance is not required).
Race day registration opens at 7:30 AM with races starting at 9:00
AM. Race entry fee is $30.00 ($15.00 for juniors). $10.00 additional
late fee for race day registration. Participants may choose to race
either by category or age group (medals awarded based on category
entered), however each racer must complete the full TT course for
each event in which they are registered. Full category listings are
