Reference your application for the post of „Laboratory Assistant‟ against DIAT Advt.
No.01/2014 (NTS-DIAT(DU)).

I am pleased to inform that you have been shortlisted for a Written Test for the post of
Laboratory Assistant scheduled on 15th April 2015 at 09:30 a.m. at Defence Institute of Advanced
Technology (Deemed to be University), Pune. The result of Written Test will be declared on the same
day. Only those candidates, who qualify in the Written Test, will be allowed to attend the Interview on
16th April 2015 at 10:00 a.m. If required, the Interview process will be continued on 17th April 2015.
The qualifying marks for attending Interview will be decided by the selection committee on the basis
of performance of candidates in Written Test and number of available vacancies.
You are requested to report to this Institute at 08:30 am on 15th April 2015 along-with original
copies of all the certificates/documents/testimonials in support of your Educational qualifications,
Work experience, Date of Birth, Caste Certificate etc. and one set of their attested photocopies for
detailed scrutiny. In case you are already employed, you must bring a “No objection Certificate” from
your present employer for attending the Written Test, if your application was not forwarded through
proper channel. Please note that you will be interviewed only after verification of all required
testimonials, certificates, etc. in original.

This Call letter for Written Test is provisional. If it is found later, that you don‟t fulfill any of the
conditions of eligibility, your candidature will be summarily cancelled. You are therefore advised to
check carefully and satisfy yourself that you fulfill all the conditions of eligibility, as per the
advertisement.

This Institute is situated at Girinagar (in south Khadakwasla, Haveli Taluka, Pune District,
Maharashtra State), on Sinhagad Road (on the right bank of Khadakwasla lake). DIAT is about 25
Kms away from the Pune Railway Station and about 20 Kms from Shaniwar Wada PMT bus stand.
One can reach DIAT by PMT bus on route no. 49 from Pune Railway Station (IAT bus stop) and route
no. 50, 51 and 52 from Shaniwar Wada enroute Swargate to DIAT Down gate/Donje
Phata/Sinhagad/Khanapur. Six-seaters for DIAT are also available from select points in the city.

Outstation SC/ST candidates will be paid 2nd Class Sleeper rail fare, to and fro by the
shortest route. No accommodation will be possible in the campus and candidates have to make their
own arrangements for stay.
