VODKA
Vodka is a white, distilled beverage, generally bottled at 40% ABV. It can be made
virtually with any raw material, most commonly grains or potatoes. Its origins are
lost somewhere between Russia and Poland, as early as the 1400’s.
While easily mixable in modern fruity drinks, it reaches its best in Classic
Martini Cocktails.

GIN
Gin flavour profile comes mainly from juniper berries, but other varied botanicals
are also used in the production process. Its roots are Dutch (Jenever, late 16th
century), but in England, gin found its home in the 17th century. There are
different categories of gin, depending on production methods, geographical
origins and sugar content.
Gin must be bottled at least at 37.5%. It is the soul of many classic cocktails,
from the Martinez to the Collins and many more.
