PLUM CREEK POST PLUM CREEK POST Yard of the Month BEGINS APRIL 1ST PC LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE Yard of the Month awards are just around the corner. Like previous years, we are only judging nominated homes, so email us your favorite Plum Creek gardens! Any home in Plum Creek can be nominated. You can even nominate your own home. To nominate a home, email [email protected]. The Landscape Committee will judge homes the first week of each month of April, May and June and the winning yards will have signs by the 15th of the month. Remember, only nominated yards will be judged so send those emails. Prizes are awarded for First, Second, and Third Place. Home Depot gift cards are awarded: First Place-$60, Seconded Place- $50, Third Place- $40. So if you know of a great yard, it’s worth taking a few moments to submit the nomination to [email protected]. Have your gardens ready for judging and your nominations submitted by April 1st. Continue submitting lovely yards for awards until June 1st of 2015. If you see a beautiful yard and want to reward that gardener, send a nomination. Registering specifically for the Challenge (outlined below) is a treat for your pocketbook! Want to run a Marathon? If you participate in the long course of the Plum Creek Challenge, you can run a total of 26 miles in one year. You can run a half-marathon by participating in the Plum Creek Challenge short course. It is important for you to have your children present by 9:30 am, as not to miss the fun! The hunt starts right on time! Feel free to hang out after the hunt and enjoy the bounce house. With plenty of eggs to hunt, the park will be divided into four, color-coded sections by age group, as indicated below. Also, kids must bring their own basket to collect their tiny treasures.
