AgriBank Releases Annual Giving Report
Fulfilling Farm Credit’s Mission to Serve All American Agriculture
St. Paul, Minn., March 26, 2015 — Today
AgriBank, the St. Paul-based Farm Credit
Bank, released its annual report on
corporate giving. In 2014, AgriBank
partnered with affiliated Farm Credit
Associations to provide more than $2.4
million for worthy programs in each of the
15 states they serve.
“At AgriBank, everything we do supports
Farm Credit’s mission to serve American
agriculture,” said CEO Bill York and Board
Chair Douglas Felton in an open letter to
stakeholders. “That starts with our
business of providing a reliable source of
credit to American farmers, ranchers,
agribusinesses rural homeowners and
other eligible borrowers. It extends to
supporting the rural and urban
communities where we live and work.”

the future of agriculture with support for organizations that focus on youth education
and leadership
 Access to fresh produce and nutrition: Working to fight hunger and support local food
systems in communities across the 15 states, including programs that connect farmers
with local food banks, and community gardens that both provide both educational
opportunities and improved access to fresh produce
 Helping young, beginning and small farmers: Providing resources for fledgling farmers
to get started and remain successful, including training for urban farmers, an incubator
farm to help small farmers, and a food hub that brings farmers together with their local
community
 Our employees’ commitment to service: AgriBank employees were recognized with a
Jefferson Award for their work volunteering in the Minneapolis-St. Paul community, and
the Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs awarded
AgriBank and AgStar Financial Services its most outstanding sponsor award for 2014
