The eligibility period for the 2015 IMA is May 1, 2013 to May 1, 2015 for all
categories except the Indigenous Female and Male Entertainer of the Year and
Drum Group of the Year, which acknowledge work released/broadcast/completed
in the 12-month period beginning on May 1, 2014 and ending on May 1, 2015.
For all genre categories, the music must have been released for purchase between
May 1, 2013 and May 1, 2015.
For the music video, and television categories, all music videos, singles, and
episodes must have debuted online, or on television between May 1, 2013 and
May 1, 2015.

This category celebrates the accomplishments of competition drum groups. To
qualify, the group must have a minimum of 10 host drum bookings and/or
competition pow wow wins between May 1, 2014 and May 1,2015. Each
submission must include a 12-month Host/Win History (May 1, 2014 – May 1,
2015) that identifies the date, host or competition win classification, pow wow name,
pow wow location, and the amount of prize money won (for wins only). For the
purposes of this category, the IMA will consider a competition win as any placing
that includes prize money (e.g. first, second, third, etc.).

2. Nominees Announced and Public Vote: Nominees will be announced on June 23, 2015 and the second
round of voting will begin to determine the winners. All voting is FREE worldwide.
3. ALL VOTING IS FREE OF CHARGE. VOTERS CAN ONLY REGISTER ONCE AND VOTE ONE
TIME, PER CATEGORY, PER YEAR.
