The Diploma of Business has been designed for those with some experience in a range of settings who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. This qualification is also suited to those with little experience but sound theoretical business skills and knowledge and who would like to further develop these skills in order to create further educational and employment opportunities. Students study 2 units across an eight week term then have a 2 week “Research Break” The Diploma of Business is assessed through written & oral assessments, case studies, industry placement, workbooks, presentations and assignments. Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible for a BSB50215 Diploma of Business. International student entry requirements for this course: It's a requirement for enrolment and for the grant of a student visa that students establish their English language proficiency. How you can do this depends on your passport and Education Sector, which determine your Assessment Level. Some levels can use the ACIT test (80% or above, only available at ACIT) to establish their competence. Other levels need IELTS 5.5 or equal (or higher) or certified proof of successful Foundation, Certificate IV or higher studies. BSBPMG522 - Undertake Project Work This unit allows students to learn skills to plan, administer, monitor, finalise and evaluate the project and to identify areas of improvement that can be applied to future projects. BSBMKG501 - Identify and Evaluate Marketing Opportunities This unit includes analysing marketing data, distinguishing the characteristics of possible markets and assessing the viability of changes to operations which would allow marketing opportunities to be taken advantage of. BSBHRM506 - Manage Recruitment Selection and Induction Processes This unit covers aspects of the recruitment selection and induction processes in accordance with organisational policies and procedures. BSBADM504 - Plan and Implement Administrative Systems This unit gives students the skills and knowledge to plan, implement, monitor and review effective administration system and procedures. BSBRSK501 - Manage Risk This unit gives the student skills and knowledge required to manage risks in a range of contexts across an organisation, a specific business unit or area. BSBWOR501 - Manage Personal Work Priorities and Professional Development You need to manage your own performance and professional development right? This unit focuses on our own performance and professional development with particular emphasis on setting and meeting priorities, analysing information and using a range of strategies to increase competency. BSBLED502 - Manage Programs that Promote Personal Effectiveness This unit gives students skills and knowledge required to manage programs within a health and wellbeing focus.
