Establish and Review the Business Continuity Management Framework and Strategies
The course is delivered over 32 study weeks
We offer intakes every week except holiday and Research Break weeks.
Students study 2 units across an eight week term then have a 2 week “Research Break”
The Advanced Diploma of Business is assessed through written & oral assessments, case studies, industry placement,
workbooks, presentations and assignments.
Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible for a BSB60215 Advanced Diploma of Business.
International student entry requirements for this course:
It's a requirement for enrolment and for the grant of a student visa that students establish their English language proficiency. How you can do
this depends on your passport and Education Sector, which determine your Assessment Level. Some levels can use the ACADEMIQUE test
(80% or above) to establish their competence. Other levels need IELTS 5.5 or equal (or higher) or certified proof of successful Foundation,

BSBINM601 - Manage Knowledge and Information
This unit applies to people working in management roles who have responsibility for ensuring that critical knowledge and
information are readily available to review the organisation's performance and to ensure its effective functioning.
Knowledge and information can include business performance data, customer feedback, statistical data and financial
data.
BSBMKG607 - Manage Market Research
This unit applies to senior marketing professionals who are responsible for preparing market research plans for
implementation, engaging external consultants, managing market research activity, and evaluating research processes
and findings across an organisation.
BSBMKG603 - Manage the Marketing Process
This unit applies to senior marketing professionals who are responsible for managing the overall marketing process of an
organisation and for managing marketing personnel. Typically they would manage a portfolio of products or services
across the organisation, rather than a single product or few products. This unit targets more senior personnel who have a
wider scope of marketing activities for a greater number of products or services, than BSBMKG514A Implement and
monitor marketing activities.
BSBFIM601 - Manage Finances
This unit applies to people who have managerial responsibilities which include overseeing the management of financial
and other resources across a business unit, a series of business units or teams, or an organisation. It covers all areas of
broad financial management. In a larger organisation this work would be supported by specialists in financial
management.
BSBCCO602 - Manage Customer Engagement Information
This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to manage customer contact information
and the management information systems (MIS) used in a customer contact environment.
Managers design specific implementation programs within these systems, including data collection, measurement types
and patterns, and reporting strategies, as well as managing the use of information obtained.
Competence in this unit requires using MIS to produce accurate and relevant information and reporting that support the
efficient running of the centre or business unit. It also requires knowledge of the requirements to design, implement and
tailor information systems to meet the changing needs of the environment.
BSBMGT617 – Develop and Implement a Business Plan
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to research, develop and present a marketing plan for an
organisation. It applies to individuals working in senior marketing positions who are responsible for formulating a
marketing plan by developing specific marketing strategies and tactics in accordance with the organisation’s overall
marketing objectives. Individuals operating at this level may receive input from people working under their supervision
who collect information required to devise specific marketing strategies and tactics.
BSBCON801 – Establish and Review the Business Continuity Management Framework and Strategies
This unit describes skills and knowledge required to establish, monitor and review the formal and/or informal business
continuity management framework and strategies for an organisation. It applies to individuals working in positions of
authority who have the responsibility for embedding business continuity management into corporate or organisational
levels of a business. The framework is important as it provides the processes and resources to ensure continued
achievement of critical business objectives in the event of a disruption (even at diminished capacity) until full functionality
is restored.
