ACell® Enters National Purchasing Agreement with Premier, Inc.
MatriStem® Wound Products Now Accessible by More Than 100,000 Providers
Columbia, MD - (April 10, 2015) – ACell, Inc. today announced that it has entered into a
national group purchasing agreement with Premier, Inc. to offer the Company’s line of
MatriStem wound management devices to Premier alliance members.
MatriStem wound devices are the first xenograft products in Premier’s new
Regenerative Skin Grafts category, which was created to address the growing demand
for regenerative medicine therapies.
Premier, a leading healthcare improvement company, unites an alliance of
approximately 3,400 U.S. hospitals and 110,000 other provider members. ACell was
awarded a sole-source Premier Regenerative Skin Grafts contract for its MatriStem
wound devices. The contract followed a comprehensive review, during which, Premier
found that MatriStem wound products demonstrate a benefit to patient care when
compared to other available wound products in the regenerative medicine space.
