Media Advisory: Walk away trusty from the Department of the Jail
Alachua County detectives are currently working to locate an inmate that walked away from an outside work detail on
the grounds of the Alachua County Jail, located at 3333 NE 39th Avenue. Terrance L. Johnson, B/M, 12/15/84, reported
for his work assignment at 7:36 a.m. this morning. His assignment was on a cleaning crew responsible for cleaning
public areas both inside and outside of the jail. Johnson had worked this detail several times within the last month.
At the time of his disappearance, Johnson was wearing orange pants and an orange shirt at the time.
Johnson was serving a 364 day sentence for a probation violation on original charges of fraud and grand theft.
