Thank you for the work that you do to both inform and encourage your church membership.
Each year, the second Sabbath in May is set aside for the collection of the ADRA Disaster & Famine Relief Offering. To help raise as much as possible to assist those who will be affected by disasters such as
floods, famines, conflicts, and other distressing circumstances, we are asking for your help.
Please include the following announcements in your communications with your church:
• May 2nd — Bulletin announcement
Next week, Sabbath May 9th, the ADRA Canada Disaster and Famine Relief Offering will be collected in every church across Canada. Please come prepared to give generously to help those who will
be affected by the disasters that will strike the world this year. Envelopes are available from your
ADRA Ambassador.
• May 9th — Bulletin announcement
Today churches across Canada will join together to collect the annual ADRA Canada Disaster and
Famine Relief Offering. Your gift will help those affected by famines, floods, conflicts, and other
disasters. Envelopes are available from your ADRA Ambassador.
You are helping to change lives!
• May 16th — Bulletin announcement
Thank you for giving to the ADRA Canada Disaster and Famine Relief Offering last Sabbath. Your
generous donations will be used to assist in disaster efforts around the world. A special thank you
to our ADRA Ambassadors, the church bulletin secretaries, and treasurers! We greatly appreciate
your commitment and dedication!
