Company Overview
Adventure Destinations International (ADI) is a privately owned organization that owns and provides
marketing and support services to a collection of fishing lodges in Northern Saskatchewan.
ADI encompasses three fishing lodges including Selwyn Lake Lodge, Twin Falls Lodge and Thompson's
Camps Otter Lake Resort. Along with our fishing lodges, we own and operate four outpost camps and 29
secluded fly-in fishing lakes.
Position Overview
The cook at the Thompson’s Camps restaurant prepares and serves meals to resort guests according to
restaurant menu and prepares meals for the resort staff. The cook is also involved in the general
operation of the kitchen, including cleaning, ordering food, and rotating stock.
Areas of Responsibility



Employment Schedule and Hours
This position is expected to work 7-days per week, averaging 8-10 hours per day throughout the duration
of the season. Cooks are expected to work split shifts if necessary.
Additional Job Benefits
All staff are provided with free-of-charge private accommodations and three meals per day throughout
the duration of the season. Fishing boats are available to staff members during off-work hours.
Education and Experience Requirements


Red Seal Chef Certificate (or

Experience in a professional kitchen
qualification in progress)

High school diploma
WHMIS Food Safe Certificate
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirement

Proven success in a team environment



Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism

Ability to multi-task

Experience in a remote work environment an asset
