1 Check chair for any sharp objects.
4 Attach air hoses to the control
unit. Straighten any twists to
ensure uninterrupted air flow
between control unit and
seating cushion.
2 Unzip the top cover
and place the seating
cushion on top of the
chair surface, with the
static cell edge to the
front. Standing to face
the chair, check the
following:
5 Insert the power cord into control
unit base, then plug into power
outlet and switch on mains power.
a. the air cells (c) are in
a horizontal position across the chair

b. the air hoses appear from the back right corner of
the cushion
c. with the static cell edge to the front.

6 Turn the control unit Pressure
dial to maximum and switch
on. Allow up to 10 minutes for
complete inflation.
3 Hang the control unit using
the rear hanging hooks or
place on a stable surface (ie
on floor beneath the chair).
Ensure power cord and
hoses do not cause a trip
hazard.

Power switch
Turns system power on and
off. Switch illuminates to
indicate power is on.
Connecting to the
seaing overlay
To attach the air hoses,
simply press the quick
connectors into place.
Connectors include a
press button release
system for ease of use.
Alarm indicator
Indicates control unit or
seating overlay pressure
has failed.
Ready indicator
Indicates system has
reached (and maintains)
operational pressure.
Pressure dial
Adjusts seating overlay
pressure from low to high.
Static / Alternating switch
Switches between Static
and Alternating operational modes
Mounting the control unit
Pull out the inbuilt rear hanging
hooks to hang the control unit over
the chair back.
Replacing the air filter
1 Switch off power, disconnect air hoses and power cord.
2 Place the control unit face down on a soft, flat surface.
3 Use a screwdriver to carefully remove the air filter
cover. Clean the dust from the filter or discard and
replace with a new filter.
4 Refit the air filter cover to the control unit before use.
