About the African Economic Expansion
Summit (AEES) and Network (AEEN):
The African Economic Expansion Summit
(AEES) is proudly hosted by the Province of
KwaZulu-Natal. AEES aims to foster more
effective communication about Africa's massive
capital infrastructure development imperatives,
and the international community.
The Second Annual Summit, themed From
Showcase to Shovel is scheduled to take place
at the Durban International Convention Centre
from 8-11 November 2015, and will build on the
partnerships and outcomes of our 2014
conference.
Both AEES and AEEN focus on creating
incremental program value i.e. better outcomes
through an engagement platform that leverages
on-the-ground partnerships to increase
beneficiation, local employment, technical
capacity, wealth creation and economic activity
through international infrastructure
partnerships.
At the partner formation level, AEEN's online
platform connects local and international
investors with opportunities based on their skills
and selected investment criteria. This real-time
web-based interactive structure reduces
unnecessary travel expenditure, time
consuming networking processes and pre-due
diligence review.

immense pipeline of infrastructure-related

Theme: Driving Infrastructure Investment in
Africa:
AEES will focus on being the leader in driving
investment and expediting infrastructure
development in Africa, from showcase to
shovel. AEES will showcase infrastructure
projects, recognising both the challenges and
progress in doing business in Africa. It will
provide a stimulating and informative centre for
investors and project owners. With eminent
speakers, expert presenters and key suppliers
all in attendance, delegates will identify
excellent opportunities and see the ease of
doing business in Africa. Join us at the Durban
