Cords, Honors, Caps & Gowns
Seniors are to provide their own
transportation.
Appropriate
Graduation Clothing
Graduates may wear gold or silver cords, and National
Honor Society Collars over their robes. They may also
wear ONE lei over their robe.
Women: Dress or nice pants, and
dress shoes. Graduation gowns are
red and the tassel is on the left side
of the cap.
Gold cord eligibility:
Cumulative GPA of 3.8-4.0
Silver cord eligibility:
Cumulative GPA of 3.6-3.79
(GPA calculated through 3rd term)
Men: Collar shirt, tie, nice slacks,
and dress shoes. Graduation gowns
are black and the tassel is on the
left side of the cap.
Cords will be available in the Finance Office April 27
for those who qualify. The cost is $10.00

Caps & gowns will be available to pick up on May 27th
at American Fork High School between 11:30am to
1:00pm

NO jeans, shorts, tennis shoes or
flip flops! Seniors not dressed
appropriately will not be allowed
to walk with the class.
Graduate Conduct: No gum,
candy, or food should be consumed
while in your gown. Balloons,
banners, laser pens, masks,
electronic devices (iPods, cell
phone, etc.) are not allowed in the
UVU UCCU Center.

Senior 2015 Graduation Deadlines
Deficient Credit: Thursday, May 27th, 2015 is the deadline for completing
deficient credit for participation in American Fork High School’s graduation
ceremony. No credit will be accepted for graduation ceremony after this date.
This also includes credit from any alternative program.
East Shore High School: All assignments and tests must be completed by May
22nd 3pm for participation in American Fork High School’s graduation
ceremony.
Electronic High School: All assignments must be submitted on or before
Monday, April 20th, 2015. Final tests must be arranged with a proctor and
taken by Monday, April 27th, 2015 to be guaranteed completion before
graduation.
Independent Study and Other Programs: All assignments must be submitted on
or before Monday, April 20th, 2015. Final tests must be arranged with a proctor
and taken by Monday, April 27th, 2015 to be guaranteed completion before
graduation.
Miscellaneous Credits: All additional credit (extra-curricular, grade changes,
etc.) must be received by the counseling office no later than Wednesday, May
27th, 2015 at 3pm.
