Stabling is available at $75.00 per stall. Please indicate if you want to be stabled beside or
with another owner/trainer. ** Stalls will be allocated as entries are received.
Shavings will be available at the show.
$25.00 per horse Off Trailer Fees will be charged for the show.
Stabling will be restricted and should be ordered in advance as
Western Fair wants Pre-entry numbers so they do not setup to many stalls.

TENTATIVE Show Schedule
Please Note:
PB = Purebred Arabian, HA = Half or Anglo Arabian: $ denotes AHA Sweepstakes
point class
Registered Half or Anglo Arabian stallions may compete in performance classes.
Classes may be split or combined as entries warrant, in accordance with AHA
guidelines.
Arabian Jackpot Classes are offered as a result of Fundraising at the AGM.
Saddlebred, and Morgan classes as indicated; ONLY BOLDED classes are open to
all breeds; remainder are open to Purebred/Half or Anglo-Arabians only.
**Classes 44, 117, 128 may be used as qualifiers for the Ontario Provincial
Saddleseat Championships. Ontario Residents wishing to use these classes as
qualifiers must be current OEF members.
In order to compete in championship classes, horse/rider must have competed in
class in same division earlier in show (includes all-breed classes).
All Entrants (Owner/Rider/Driver/Handler) in ALL Divisions
MUST Provide their current OEF membership, or Proof of
Personal Liability with a minimum of $2,000,000 coverage.
Arabian Division- All Entrants must provide copies of EC Bronze (or
above), OEF, and AHA Competition cards, as well as horse
registration papers.
Morgan Division- All Entrants must provide copies of EC Bronze (or
above), OEF Cards, as well as horse registration papers. Owners
need to have a CMHA membership.
Saddlebred Division- All Entrants must provide proof of liability, as
described above. A copy of Registration Papers is required for every
horse- if Canadian Registered, submit these only. In the case of an
American-only Registered horse, submit US papers.
Arabian “TBA” Classes Chose any class on the AHA Class List (with
the exception of Dressage, Working Hunter/Jumper/Eventing,
Working Western(Excluding reining) or Carriage/Combined Driving),
THEN advise the show secretary in writing by entry closing date of
the class and which TBA slot you wish it to run in.
TBA’s will be allotted on a first come-first serve basis.
You pay regular class fees- no post entry for that class, and no TBA
fee!
AHA MEMBERSHIP STATEMENT
EACH COMPETITOR (THIS INCLUDES AT LEAST ONE RECORDED OWNER AND
ALL TRAINERS, DRIVERS, RIDERS, HALTER HANDLERS, COACHES AND THE
PERSON(S) SIGNING THE ENTRY BLANK) IN AN ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION
RECOGNIZED ARABIAN DIVISION, AT THE TIME OF ENTRY INTO A
COMPETITION, MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF A VALID AHA
MEMBERSHIP/COMPETITION CARD, JOIN AHA OR PAY AN AHA SINGLE EVENT
MEMBERSHIP FEE PER COMPETITOR.
WHEN AN AGENT SIGNS FOR THE OWNER AT AN AHA RECOGNIZED
COMPETITION, BOTH THE OWNER AND AGENT MUST BE MEMBERS OF AHA OR
PAY THE AHA SINGLE EVENT MEMBERSHIP.
SINGLE EVENT MEMBERSHIP IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AT AHA REGIONAL OR
NATIONAL COMPETITIONS.
EXHIBITORS IN WALK-TROT CLASSES ARE EXEMPT FROM AHA MEMBERSHIP
REQUIREMENTS AT QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS, BUT MUST HAVE AN AHA

EQUINE CANADA STATEMENT OF PRINCIPLE
Equine Canada (EC), the national equestrian federation of Canada, supports
adherence to humane treatment of horses in all competitions under its jurisdiction.
EC is committed to

Upholding the welfare of horses, regardless of value, as a primary
consideration in all activities;

Requiring that horses be treated with kindness, respect, and the
compassion that they deserve, and that they never be subjected to
mistreatment;

Ensuring that owners, trainers and exhibitors or their agents use
responsible care in the handling, treatment and transportation of their
horses as well as horses placed in their care for any purpose;

Providing for the continuous well-being of horses by encouraging
routine inspection and consultation with health care professionals and
competition officials to achieve the highest possible standards of
nutrition, health, comfort, sanitation and safety as a matter of standard
operating procedure;

Continuing to support scientific studies on equine health and welfare;

Increasing education in training and horsemanship practices;

Requiring owners, trainers and exhibitors to know and follow their
sanctioning organization's rules, and to work within industry regulations
in all equestrian competition;

Reviewing, revising and developing competition rules and regulations
that protect the welfare of horses.
The standard by which conduct or treatment will be measured is that which a
reasonable person, informed and experienced in generally accepted equine
training and exhibition procedures, would determine to be neither cruel, abusive
nor inhumane.
The AHAEC Summer Sizzler is sanctioned as BRONZE competition members
of Equine Canada, 308 Legget Drive, Suite 100, Ottawa, ON K2K 1Y6 and is
governed by the rules of EC. Every class offered herein is covered by the
rules and specifications of the current rules of EC and will be judged in
accordance with the EC Rule Book
