HARRIS 1500 GIANT PANELS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
Harris 1500 Giant Panels are available in 8’x8’ and 8’x4’. They
are manufactured with the same frame components as 30”
and smaller panels and all hardware is compatible.
Giant Panels are made with galvanized frames for long service
life and 1/2” Birch veneer plywood with high-density phenolic
resin overlay which results in smooth, flat concrete finish.
Allowable pour pressure for the giant panels is 1,350 psf (limited by the safe working load of 15mm ties.

Late in 2013 HarMac began supplying S&F Concrete with reinforcing
steel for their One Franklin Place Project located in downtown Boston.
The project is expected to be completed in 2016.
On April 26-27, 2014, this project broke records completing the largest
continuous concrete pour in Boston history; 22.5 straight hours, 6,000
cubic yards of concrete that was delivered by 572 concrete trucks and
encased 1200 tons of mat/slab rebar that was fabricated and delivered
in 12 days, in the process.
Once complete this high rise multi-use, cast in-place concrete structure
will be Boston’s fourth tallest building, topping out at over 600 feet.
Progress is well under way, with over 3,300 tons of rebar shipped since
March 2014. HarMac is projected to deliver approximately 20 million
pounds of reinforcing steel in total for this project.
A partnership between concrete contractor and rebar supplier is
critical to making a project of this scale a success. HarMac’s team
of experienced detailers, project managers, delivery drivers, and
fabrication crews are proud to once again partner with S&F Concrete
on another high profile project in the City of Boston.
