size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge: 12 st and 18 rows = 4” in lace

yo: yarn over.
k2tog: knit 2 st together.
kfb: increase by knitting in the front and

Stitch Patterns:
Lace Mesh St. Multiple of 2 plus 2.
Row 1: K1, *yo, K2tog*, k1.
Pattern Directions
Cast on 32 st.
Row A: K1, *yo, K2tog,* work * * to last
st, yo, kfb (34 st).
Repeat Row A until there are 86 st.
Row B: Knit on 6 st, k1, *yo, K2tog,* work
* * to last st, yo, kfb (94 st).
Work Row B 9 more times (164 st).
Work Row A until there are 186 st.
The bind off row is essentially worked in
pattern. K1, *yo, k2tog, pass yo over the
st just worked as k2tog, pass first st over
the st just worked as k2tog,* work * * until
there is one st remaining, bind off.
Weave in ends. Block to finished
dimensions.
