A bit about Speaking Space
Speaking Space is a service specialising in communication
offering a Day Service for adults with a learning disability or
autism. It is also a resource centre for communication
assessment and advice and a training venue for courses. Speaking
Space is a Total Communication environment and Makaton
signing is part of our everyday communication.
How to find us

Speaking Space is based at Fleming House, Alma Road, in Romsey which is a 5 minute drive from
junction 3 of the M27. From the M27, take the A3057 to Romsey and then stay on the A3057
and follow signs to Stockbridge and Andover. You will see that you are now heading out of
Romsey on Alma Road. You will pass Waitrose on your left and then at the traffic lights you will
see the Speaking Space building which is on the corner of Alma Road and Station Road.
We are also directly opposite Romsey train station. Our car park is just before the building on
Alma Road but is strictly for Day Service business only so please park either in the streets around
Alma road or in the long stay car park next to Waitrose which is 5 minute walk from us.
