Reasons for RouteSync
Not all loads are the same
• Most fleets have a certain percentage of loads that require special route modification
Waypoint use is insufficient
• Still might not get same route as PC*MILER
• If a driver misses a waypoint, CoPilot may try to turn him around and route back to the waypoint
Starting a RouteSync Route
• CoPilot creates “unmanaged” leg if >5 miles from origin
• CoPilot continues from the current location if it is already on the RouteSync path
