Quick Start Knit
Trendsetter Yarns’

Cardigan
Learn how to cast on, knit, and bind off
while making a garter stitch scarf. $30
class fee includes needles and yarn.
Working in one piece to the
armholes means minimal
seaming and no worries
about matching the pattern
of the yarn. This striking
cardigan is a great choice
for knitting your first (or
fiftieth) sweater. In
addition to Trendsetter’s
wonderful Zensation yarn,
you will need pattern
#5001F. Class fee: $45

Quick Start Purl
Learn to purl and how to combine knit
and purl to create a variety of stitch
patterns. $25 class fee includes
needles and yarn.
Sunday, Aug 2 at 12:30 PM.
Quick Start Crochet
Learn to chain, single, double crochet
and other basic crochet stitches. $20
class fee includes hook and yarn.
Saturday, Aug 29 at 11 AM.
Oops!!
Learn how to pick up a dropped stitch,
correct mistakes a few stitches back,
and what to do when you have to take
out whole rows. $25 class fee includes
yarn and “fix-it” tools. Bring US #7 or
#8 straight needles to use in class.

for the class project. We do not give refunds
for missed classes or cancellations made less

Basic Socks Class
Looking for a portable project? Socks
may be the answer - especially when
you knit them on an Addi Turbo’s 12”
circular needle! And most of the time
you won’t even have to use those
pesky double pointed needles! Learn
knitting in the round and how to work
two different decreases. $75 class fee
includes sock yarn, pattern, and both
a 12” circular and dpns.

Larkspur Cardigan knit
in Indigo from Berroco
An intermediate design from Berroco’s
Indigo book (#353) that features
cables, a short row shaped collar and
neckline and set-in sleeves. Sizes
range from X-Small to 3X and the
garment was designed with
approximately 2” of ease. $55 class
fee.

Knit a ZigZag Pillow
Cover and learn what
you can do with short
rows and self striping
yarn

The unique look of this bag is
created by working Tunisian crochet
in a patchwork pattern reminiscent of
entrelac. Pattern is in The New
Tunisian Crochet by Dora Ohrenstein
and uses up to 7 colors of Tahki’s
Cotton Classic. Class fee $45.
Sundays, Jun 14 & 21, Jul 12 , Aug 2
and 16 at 2 PM.
Each pillow cover side is 16” x 16”
and you will need two to finish the
pillow. You can take both classes
and make one of each or make two of the same design. The first class
will focus on learning the technique. The second class will focus on
seaming the two pieces together. To make a pillow cover for both sides,
the Zig Zag design uses 4 balls of Crofter DK and the Log Cabin design
uses 3 balls of Crofter DK. You will also need the pattern (Sirdar 7228)
and 4mm needles or the right needle size to give correct gauge. Each
class is $20 or take both classes for $35.
