Description: Altitude Drug LLC is seeking a pharmacist to join our growing team. Both full and part-time

located in Pinedale, Wyoming, at the base of the beautiful Wind River Mountains, and is Sublette County
Wyoming’s locally-owned and operated pharmacy. We offer great hours and a positive working environment.
Pharmacist Job Purpose: Serves patients by preparing and dispensing medications; giving pharmacological
information to multidisciplinary health care team(s); monitoring patient drug therapies.
Pharmacist Job Duties include but are not limited to:











Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders; detecting therapeutic
incompatibilities.
Dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.
Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow;
verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and
inspections.
Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care
professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.
Processes and troubleshoots insurance claims and benefits
Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug
enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration; maintaining records for controlled
substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work
results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation;
anticipating legislation; advising management on needed actions.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards while
maintaining a good attendance record.
Maintains pharmacological knowledge by completing continuing education requirements; reviewing
professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications: PharmD preferred. Applicants must hold current pharmacy license from the state of
Wyoming and must be certified to administer immunizations. Analyze information, administer medication,
ethical behavior, good verbal communication, pharmacology expertise, legal compliance knowledge,
productive, quality focused, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new and complex systems are also
necessary qualifications.
