RICHMOND SEMINOLE CLUB® (RSC) SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION The Richmond Seminole Club® Scholarship was established to recognize and reward outstanding seniors from Virginia who have chosen to attend Florida State University. AMOUNT: $1,000 (to be equally dispersed in two installments during the Fall and Spring semesters of the student's freshman year) ELIGIBILITY: Must be a graduating senior from a high school in the state of Virginia who: Ø Has a minimum 3.0 unweighted high school cumulative GPA, and Ø Has been accepted and will be attending Florida State University as a full-time, degreeseeking freshman. CRITERIA FOR DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS: The Spring portion of the scholarship will be awarded if the student remains a degree-seeking, full-time student and has maintained a 3.0 GPA. SCHOLARSHIP USE: Scholarship money will be paid directly to the Office of Financial Aid at Florida State University. The scholarship recipient must plan to enroll for post-secondary education the Fall term after graduation. In the event that the scholarship is not used beginning the Fall term after graduation, the money will revert back to the Richmond Seminole Club® or may be awarded to an alternate student chosen by the RSC Leadership Board. All students are required to apply for the Fall Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before being considered for the scholarship.
