Day 1 – 2: April 13 – 14, 2015
Overnight Flight Cross the
International Dateline and begin the
adventure of a lifetime by skipping a
day ahead.
Day 3: Wednesday, April 15, 2015
Cairns, Australia - Tour Begins Your
tour opens in Cairns, the tropical
gateway to one of the world’s most
spectacular natural attractions and a
World Heritage site – the Great
Barrier Reef. Established as a marine
park in 1975, the reef is a haven for
thousands of species of sea life, as
well as turtles and birds. (D)
Day 4: Thursday, April 16, 2015 Great
Barrier Reef Set out on a high speed
catamaran for an exciting excursion
to the Great Barrier Reef. This is an
immense series of 2,800 coral reefs
which are home to amazingly diverse
marine life. Explore the reef from
your base on Green Island. Enjoy a
glass bottom boat ride*, stroll the
island walking trails, relax on the
beaches, snorkel or just watch the fish
and sea turtles swim past from the
pier. For a more adventurous
encounter with the reef, optional
scuba diving and an outer reef tour are
also available. Whichever way you
choose, you’ll see some of the world’s
most fascinating marine and plant life.

Day 5: Friday, April 17, 2015 Cairns
Today visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal
Cultural Park to meet Australia’s
original inhabitants. See the traditional
dances, learn how to play a didgeridoo
or even throw a boomerang. Browse
the renowned art gallery and visit the
interpretation center which houses a
collection of interesting artifacts. Visit
Hartley’s Croc Farm for a chance to
get up-close and personal with
crocodiles in their natural habitat!
Boardwalks take you on a path of
adventure through rainforests and
woodlands to see animals such as wild
birds, reptiles and wallabies. You also
have the chance to meet some of the
local koalas and have a private talk
with a wildlife naturalist to learn
more about these cuddly creatures.
Take a dramatic cruise on the lagoon
looking for crocodiles before enjoying
a delicious Aussie barbecue. (B, D)
Day 6: Saturday, April 18, 2015
Cairns Spend your day at leisure
enjoying the tropical surroundings.
Or, explore the rainforest canopy this
morning with an optional ride on the
Skyrail Rainforest Cableway; make a
few stops on the ascent to experience
the beauty of this World Heritage site
and experience the forest floor from
specially-designed boardwalks. (B)
Day 7: Sunday, April 19, 2015 Cairns Sydney Today you fly to the bustling
city of Sydney where the English
explorer James Cook first dropped
anchor in 1770. (B)
Day 8: Monday, April 20, 2015
Sydney This morning enjoy a city tour
of Sydney. Highlights include Kings
Cross, the Harbour Bridge,
Chinatown, the Rocks, Circular Quay,
the Botanic Gardens and the
fashionable suburb of Paddington.
Discover one of the world’s most
fascinating architectural sights as
you take a guided tour of the
Sydney Opera House, poised
majestically on Sydney Harbour.
Next, enjoy a unique opportunity to
learn first-hand how raw opals are
transformed from the dark mine shafts
to beautiful works of art at the
National Opal Centre. The evening is
free to explore Sydney at your leisure.

Day 9: Tuesday, April 21, 2015
Sydney Come to know the exciting
city of Sydney during a day of
independent exploration. You may
take advantage of an optional tour to
Koala Park for an up-close and
personal chance to learn about the
different types of wildlife native to the
land down under. Walk amongst
wallabies, indigenous birds,
kangaroos, dingoes and other
creatures. Experience the koala
habitat, where you can even take your
picture with a koala! Or perhaps use
today to walk around the city and do
some shopping…or find a local café
and relax. Tonight, experience the best
of Sydney. As you say your farewell
to Australia, chat with new friends
and take in the sights during a
delightful dinner cruise of Sydney
Harbour. Marvel at the scenic vistas
the harbour has to offer including
Sydney’s magnificent skyline and
iconic attractions, the Sydney Opera

Sydney - Nadi, Fiji Today you arrive
in the beautiful tropical paradise of
Fiji to complete your South Pacific
experience. Fijians are warm and
friendly, with a welcoming, vibrant

expansive sandy beaches and clear
ocean waters have drawn travelers and

Your day is free to explore everything
that your resort has to offer. Savor the
island lifestyle. Relax by the beach
and pool or choose one of the many
fun, adventurous activities available to

Enjoy another day in paradise. Your

Day 13: Saturday, April 25, 2015 Fiji Tour Ends Today, journey into Nadi's
scenic hinterland to the Garden of the
Sleeping Giant. This garden, begun by
famed Hollywood actor Raymond
Burr, now houses one of the largest
and most varied orchid collections in
the world. Travel to Viseisei Village,
the legendary landing site of the first
Fijians, where you will enter the
village and have a chance to explore
the local handicraft displays. See the
work that the Collette Foundation** is
supporting in the local community at
Koroipita. You will also make a stop
in the bustling township of Nadi to
experience the modern style of Fiji
living. This evening, depart for home
with treasured memories of your jaunt

Experience It! Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park
Born of the need to portray Aboriginal culture with dignity and pride, the
Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park is a stunning theatrical and symbolic
interpretation of a 50,000-year-old society. Five theatres, a museum, an art
gallery and a traditional Aboriginal camp combine to give you a complete and
meaningful glimpse into this rich and ancient culture. The Fine Art Gallery
features paintings and works by local Aboriginal artists available for purchase. In
the tribal encampment area, the most interactive area of the park, you can interact
with Tjapukai people as they teach you the art of throwing a boomerang or
playing a didgeridoo. After watching a short demonstration on bush food and
medicine, you can even taste their edible samples!

Over and Through the Rainforest to Kuranda

Glide over and through the lush rainforests of Cairns on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, the world’s longest gondola
cableway. The comfortable gondola carries you 4½ miles through the rugged beauty of Barron Gorge National Park,
part of the Wet Tropics, a UNESCO World Heritage Area. The gondola dips through the layers of the canopy to bring
you deep into the rainforest, stopping at two viewing platforms along the way. Experience the sights, sounds and
scents of this vibrant ecosystem up close. See the dramatic Barron gorge and waterfalls. At the top of the Skyrail,

The Outer Reef Experience

Jump in and explore the vibrant, colorful world teeming with life at the outer Great Barrier Reef. This massive reef
system, the largest in the world, can actually be seen from space. Cruise across the water by catamaran to the Outer
Reef pontoon where a diverse, bountiful ecosystem is yours to discover. See the kaleidoscopic underwater sea life
from up close as you snorkel along the reef and board a semi-submersible. Many other fascinating activities await you
on the Outer Reef. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even take an introductory scuba dive along the reef. You’re

Visit Koalas in their Native Bush
