In a few months, our 35th Class of ’80 Reunion will commence. We are so excited to see you in Helen Bishop Williamstown. Registration is now open, so sign up soon. Our goal is to have Vivian Dorsel 25% of our class, or 135 attend. Registration Fees: $225 per alum and per guest over 21 One day fees: $175 per alum and per guest $140 per child 11-­‐ 21 $100 per child 11-­‐21 No charge for children under 10 Thursday night $35 adults and children These fees cover all meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast) with the noted additional charge for Thursday night, as well as the weekend’s entertainment and events. If the fees and/or travel costs will pose a hardship for anyone, please call or email one of us. We have a class fund for confidential assistance. Our goal is a big turnout! Class Gift: A Surprise! Housing: The College offers on-­‐campus housing for $80 per bed for the entire weekend (Thursday-­‐Sunday) or any part of it. This fee is in addition to the above registration fees. If you prefer to stay in a hotel, make your reservations soon as we have not reserved hotel rooms. Entertainment: We are delighted to announce that The Class of 1980 Band, under the guidance of Pat Barnett-­‐
Mulligan will reprise their tour-­‐de-­‐force performance from our 30th reunion on Saturday night at our dinner. Golf: Email Bill Sprague ([email protected]), our dedicated Golf Chair, to reserve tee times. The deadline is Monday, April 27, 2015. Plans for the Weekend: Thursday, June 11 You can begin to check in at the Alumni Center/Faculty House. Keys for on campus housing will be picked up there. Anne (Sneath) and Greg Islan have offered their home on Hancock Rd for a casual gathering in the evening from 6:00-­‐10:00. Friday, June 12 • 8AM-­‐MIDNIGHT Registration at the Alumni Center/Faculty House • 10:00AM-­‐4:00PM Scheduled College Lectures. Please refer to the Reunion website for details. Saturday, June 13 • 6:45AM Bike Ride, Fun Run, Yoga etc… Check the Reunion website (alumni.williams.edu/reunions) • 7:30-­‐9:30AM Breakfast under the Tyler House Tent • 9:30AM Alumni Parade of all classes followed by the Annual Meeting of the Society of Alumni and presentation of class gifts in Chandler Gymnasium • Noon: Lunch Chapin Lawn/Paresky • Afternoon: Sports activities and tours, plus 1. 1:00PM James Meigs will lead a hike up Pine Cobble in remembrance of Van Townsend, who passed away in January. • 3:30PM Vivian Dorsel will moderate a reading event in the College library, showcasing talents and skills of anyone in the reunion community who writes either professionally or as a sideline. • 6:30-­‐11:00PM Join us and The Class of 1980 Band for a nostalgic evening of cocktails, dinner, and dancing in the Lasell Gymnasium Sunday, June 14 • 8:00-­‐11:00AM Breakfast under the Tyler House Tent • 9:00AM Memorial Service at Thompson Chapel • 1:00PM Final Dorm checkout. 2
