Dear Potential Dance Parent,
We are so excited that you have chosen Ann Freeman Dance Academy for your child’s dance education. We are looking forward
to meeting not only your child but you as well. If you have questions throughout the year, please just ask!
This letter should be downloaded and printed along with the online registration form for 2015-2016. Please look at the list
below and make sure that you have followed each step to ensure that your child will be placed in the proper class(es).

Fill out and print out the “New Student Registration Form”. Please be sure to fill out the registration form completely.
Fill out and print out the “Liability Waiver”. NO registration will be accepted without this form with signature.
Return the registration form and Liability Waiver with a $25.00 non-refundable registration fee.

Remember that classes fill up on a “first come, first serve” basis so the sooner you get all of this mailed in the sooner we
can place your child’s name on the class list.
When your registration AND liability waiver are received you will receive a “Welcome” letter with helpful information.

Please note that dance begins Wednesday, August 26 . Be sure to mark your calendar as to which day that week your child
begins his/her dance lesson.
Please look at the “Fees” link on our website. Total up the amount of time your child(ren) will be in class and match it on the fee

schedule. This will be your monthly fee. Please note that…all fees are due by the 10 of the month by 8:00pm! Even on the

weekends. Any fees received after the 10 of the month (regardless of the date on the check) will have a $10 late fee charge.

Our students are required to have black leotard, pink tights, black tap shoes (3 year olds to 2 grade) tan tap shoes for 3 grade
and up and pink ballet shoes. Boys have black tap shoes and black ballet shoes. If you child does not have dancewear by the first
class then please have them in something comfortable to move in. We let the students wear leotards in the color of their choice
on the last lesson of each month for fun! [Please refer to our “Studio Policy” link in our website menu.]
For your convenience we have “THE DANCE BOUTIQUE” where you can purchase the following at discount prices—tights in
children and adult sizes, children’s black leotards in a variety of styles along with some in beautiful color choices for our “Fun
Color Week” at the end of each month and shoes required for all classes such as ballet, tap (black & tan), jazz and modern
styles. Also available for sale are various “dance bags”, hair accessories and pins.
Please note the dancewear hours for the summer months. During the summer we operate on a limited schedule.
Summer “Dance Boutique” Hours: Tues & Thursdays 3:30-6:30pm
(closed July 4th Week)

The “Dance Boutique” will be open “DAILY” beginning August 17 – 21 from 2:30pm-6:00pm so that you can purchase
supplies in advance of the first dance week of the year. Then during the dance year itself the store will open MondaysThursdays during normal office hours of 3:30pm-6:30pm.
We only stock the actual styles of shoes that are required for our students so we can keep our prices as low as possible.
