New Appointments:
Singapore Institute of Architects 55th Council 2015/2016
Singapore, 19 March 2015 – Mr Ong Tze Boon of ONG&ONG Pte Ltd was elected
as the new President of the Singapore Institute of Architects at its Annual General
Meeting on 18 March 2015.
Ong Tze Boon’s acceptance speech,
“As President, I will steer the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) towards
greater connection with and relevance to the next generation of architects whilst
staying true to its core values.
The institute will uphold its duty as a remarkable repository of valuable
information, and continue to ensure a strong framework that supports its existing
roles.
In addition to championing the cause of the architectural fraternity, the Institute
will foster new innovators and thought leaders within the community. SIA will be
the change-enabler for the profession and architects of promise.”
