APO Big Play In
6.30pm, Monday 13 April, Auckland Town Hall
Conductor Kenneth Young welcomes students from the University of Auckland School of Music and members of the AYO
to join him in a workshop and performance at the Auckland Town Hall. Participants are seated next to APO musicians,
paired one-to-one for an intense mentoring experience.
Music is given out in advance, and all participants are expected to prepare the music to the very best of their ability. During
the session participants receive feedback from their partner APO musician as well as directly from the conductor.
