- Aftercuttingoutthefabricinstep2,stabilizeentiretreeskirttop.
- Embroider;thenremoveexcesstear-awaystabilizeraccordingtostabilizerinstructions.
UseFusibleNo-ShowMeshStabilizerinconjunctionwithHydro-stick™Tear-awayStabilizer.First,stabilizetheentirewrong
sideofthetreeskirttopfabricwithFusibleNo-ShowMeshStabilizer.Next,usetheHydro-stick™Tear-awayStabilizerrather
thanhoopingthefabric.Simplyhoopthestabilizerandadherethefabrictothestickyareaofthestabilizer.Economizebyusing
stabilizeronaroll.Insteadofcuttingthestabilizertothesizeofthehoop,keepthestabilizerontherollwhenyouhoop.After
embroideringthefirstsection,carefullytearawaythefabricfromthestabilizer.Givethestabilizeraquickpresstosmoothoutthe
wrinklesfromthefirsthooping.Thenrehoopthenextsectionofstabilizerandcontinueembroidering.
Thefollowingpagespicturesevenembroideredscenes,plusoptionalwordandsnowflakeadditions.Eachsceneindicatesthe
orderinwhichthevariousdesignsmakingupthatgroupingshouldbestitched.Ineachinstance,startwithbackgrounddesigns
andworktowardforegrounddesigns.Somedesignsareembroideredoverportionsofotherdesigns.
Todetermineplacementofthescenes,dividetheskirtintosevensections.Printtemplatesforeachofthedesigns,arrangescenes
withtemplatesandembroider.Note:Althoughyoucanuseconventionalprinterpapertoprinttemplates,printingonTranslucentFoundationPaperallowsyoutoseethroughthepaper,makingiteasiertopositiondesigns.
Optionalembroideredadditions:
- Embroiderworddesigns“LetItSnow”and“WinterWonderland”alternatinginbetweenscenes.
- Embroidersnowflakesinandaroundscenesandwords,aswellasabove,asdesired.
Whenembroideringondarkfabricorwhenstitchingonedesignontopofanother,youmayfindthatthefabricorthestitching
underneathshowsthroughtheembroidery.WerecommendusingWhiteStabilizeIt!PermanentToppingStabilizertoprevent
thosestitchingissues.Withtheexceptionofthesnowflakes,positiontoppingstabilizerbeforestitchingeachdesign.
